Our Story
How we began our journey to transform healthcare
Lifted Hands, Incorporated was founded with a simple yet powerful belief: healthcare is a fundamental human right that should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their economic circumstances or geographic location.
Our journey began when our founders witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of preventable diseases and treatable conditions in underserved African communities. They saw families torn apart by illnesses that could have been easily managed with proper medication and care, and individuals suffering in silence due to lack of access to basic healthcare services.
This experience ignited a passion to create lasting change. What started as a small initiative to provide medication to a single village has grown into a comprehensive healthcare organization serving communities across 15 African countries.
Today, we work with local healthcare providers, volunteers, and community leaders to deliver life-saving medications, perform essential surgeries, and provide preventive care and health education to those who need it most.
